Position Title: Cafe Assistant

Classification: IN14

Salary per hour: $27.07 + superannuation + generous salary packaging options

Employment Type: Ongoing part-time 32 hours per fortnight

Award: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Employers Enterprise Agreement 2025 - 2027

Role description

Dhelkaya Health is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused applicants for the position of Cafe Assistant to support the Cafe Manager in the day-to-day operation of the cafe.

In this role, you will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for staff, patients, visitors, and the wider community. Key responsibilities include preparing and serving food and beverages, providing exceptional customer service, operating point-of-sale systems, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the cafe is kept clean, safe, and hygienic at all times.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

About you

Food Safety Training
Food Hygiene Certificate
Demonstrate experience providing high level customer service to internal and external customers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
