Full Job Description

Our LEGO® Certified Store in Canberra is looking for its new energetic Sales Associates. The store will feature life-sized LEGO® models, a Pick-a-Brick wall, hard to find product releases and amazing bricks in hands engagement opportunities. Designed in partnership with the LEGO® Group, this store will be an integral part of our LEGO® Certified Store network and the home of LEGO® in Canberra!

Your Role:

As a Casual Sales Associate, you will be providing support to the store management team to help achieve KPI results, deliver an excellent, fun customer experience in store, and cultivate an inclusive & collaborative team culture. You will act as a key holder and will be involved with open/closing store operations. This role is ideal for someone that is looking to take on extra responsibility than your average sales assistant.

Your Purpose:

Provide operational support to the store management team by assisting with store opening and closing routines, register functions and back-office procedures.
Work closely with the store management team to fulfill online orders and execute in-store activations.
Support efficient inventory management including stocktakes & cycle counts.
Support the implementation of visual merchandising standards and store activations.
Help build a positive, collaborative team environment that promotes a safe & fun atmosphere.
Share your knowledge and passion for LEGO® to help educate the team on our product range and help develop their sales skills.

To be successful for this role:

Have retail sales experience and customer service experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.
Reflect professionalism but recognise the importance of a fun, encouraging and welcoming team environment and have a genuine passion for LEGO®
Be self-motivated, driven, results orientated and can demonstrate success in achieving KPI’s within a retail atmosphere
Demonstrate an ability to develop, inspire and coach a small team of retail professionals and can connect the team to the essence of the LEGO® brand
