Full Job Description

Client/Student/RTO Administrator - Full Time Role - Registered Training Organisation (RTO) established over 20 years offering training courses in specialised area of finance.

This role is a customer focused position to help with potential and current students, leading them through their enrolment process. You will be assisting with progressing students from initial enquiries through obtaining their qualifications and other administrative duties including supporting the Operations Manager.

You would have had experience working with an RTO and preferably some knowledge of the Mortgage Broking and Finance industry. However, initial training will be provided for the right candidate on a one-on-one basis in all aspects of the role. An interest in helping people is a must.

Once you are established in the role, you will enjoy a high level of independence based in our North Sydney office positioned less than 5 minutes’ walk from both North Sydney train and Victoria Cross metro stations. (Hybrid arrangements possible after initial training).

Applicants who may be "over-qualified" with RTO compliance experience but willing to undertake administrative duties are strongly encouraged to apply with the prospect of evolving into ensuring ASQA requirements are met plus other RTO managerial areas. Interested applicants are requested to closely review the essential requirements below. Competitive remuneration package, structured according to your experience level.

Candidate requirements:

- Previous experience in RTO / training, looking after remote students including enrolments, emails and phone support

- Strong administrative skills with advanced MS Office knowledge including Outlook

- Accurate and fast keyboard skills (minimum 70 wpm)

- Professional and patient phone manner

- Ability to use initiative, multi-task and handle a consistent stream of emails

- Ability to communicate with people at all levels and with varying accents

- Ability to work confidentially with a strong work ethic

- Ability to work independently with support from a small remote team.

- Ability to start training asap.

Highly desirable:

- Experience with LMS / SMS software systems preferred eg. Axcelerate, Catapult, Moodle

- Flexibility, willingness to grow with the role into expanding RTO management duties and other part of the businesses
