Operations Manager - George Street
We are seeking an Operations Manager to play a crucial role in driving our Flagship George Street store's success. This dynamic and multi-faceted role will call for a passionate, customer-centric leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to inspire, develop, and drive a customer-focused team will be instrumental in creating a shopping experience that leaves a lasting impression on every customer who walks through the door.
The ideal candidates will have experience working for a footwear or premium fashion retailer and will:
- Monitor replenishment rates and work with supporting functions to resolve product gaps.
- Offer constructive and positive feedback to the team on an ongoing basis to cultivate an environment that continuously improves store operations.
- Educate and train the store team on the latest process and technology as it relates to Omni-Channel and Store Operations.
- Demonstrate excellence through Store Operations and ensure the best consumer experience.
- Intensify the use of all digital store touchpoints for an elevated journey.
- Seamlessly connect the physical service experience with omnichannel tools to increase sales and conversion.
- Maintain a safe workspace and abide by all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Work in accordance with all R.M. Williams policies, principles and procedures.
- Other duties as directed.
Skills and Experience:
- Min 3-5 years working experience in a premium fast-paced retail environment, of which at least 2-years in a managerial level in retail.
- Strong experience in customer service and strong background in sales targets and KPI's.
- Results-oriented, possess ability to problem-solve with sound logical decision making.
- People developer, promoter and coach with exceptional proven leadership skills.
- Strategic mindset and highly organised.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
