About the role

The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the Accounts Payable function, ensuring all supplier transactions are accurately recorded, processed, reported, and paid in a timely manner. This role oversees the accounts payable control framework, ensuring compliance with Eastern Health policies, financial controls, and governance requirements.

A key focus of the position is driving continuous improvement across accounts payable processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and leverage technology to reduce manual tasks and paper-based processes. The successful candidate will play an integral role in optimising supplier invoice management while maintaining high standards of accuracy, service delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Experience in a Senior Accounts Payable role with high volume output.
Excellent customer service focus and ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
The ability to manage and develop staff while fostering a positive team environment.
The capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
A strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Oracle FMIS (R12).
