About the role
The role of the Accounts Payable Manager is to manage and co-ordinate the Accounts Payable Function, ensuring all data is recorded, processed, reported, and paid accurately on a timely basis. The role is also responsible for developing and maintaining the accounts payable control framework to ensure payments are processed in line with Eastern Health policies. In addition, the role is required to develop more efficient processing of supplier invoices, using information technology to reduce manual and paper based processes.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Senior experience in Accounts payable with high volume output
Excellent customer service focus
Experience in managing and developing staff
Experience with accounts payable and finance systems
Ability to lead an Accounts Payable team
Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with senior management
Strong work ethic, with ability to work independently and as a team member.
Excellent customer service focus
Moderate skills in the use of Microsoft products including Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to follow through on issues to completion
Experience with Oracle FMIS (R12)
Experience with continuous improvement
Experience in change management
Experience in the Victorian public health system desirable but not essential
Experience with ESKER desirable
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year. Those that are offered and/or start between May and December require the up to date Influenza vaccination prior to offer.
