About the Role

As a Business Development Manager / Solutions Specialist, and under the wing of an experienced Director of Sales Engineering, you will pitch and sell our Real Time Agent and Engage products to our Real Estate agency clients across the metro Melbourne region - prospecting new leads, building relationships, pitching solutions, negotiating and closing sales before handing over to Customer Success.

With an uncapped earning potential and relatively small element of outbound prospecting (30%), this is a unique opportunity to become a Proptech product specialist, and control the approach to market for the metro Melbourne region.

What You’ll Do

Partner closely with our Sales Executives to create and deliver sales pitches that articulate value to our Real Estate agency customers, and support with technical expertise throughout the sales journey.
Prospect new qualified leads (70% outbound) to arrange in-person sales meetings, as well as cross-selling to existing customers.
Support the national sales pipeline, creating strong relationships with industry partners
Conduct fact-finding conversations and client needs-analysis to determine suitable solutions.
Present in-person to groups of sales agents, negotiate and close sales.
Seek to understand emerging customer needs and scan for market / competitor trends.
Facilitate the sharing of client feedback to Sales, Marketing and Product teams to influence product improvements and new ideas that address client pain points.
Attend sales meetings and corporate roadshows.
Expand your knowledge to become an industry expert within the Real Estate tech solutions space.

Ideally You’ll Have

ESSENTIAL :

Proven track record in B2B New Business Development.
Experience identifying opportunities from qualified and unqualified leads.
Able to travel across the metro Melbourne region.
Comfortable being client-facing and presenting in sales meetings.
A proactive mindset and hunger for sales.
Valid Australian drivers license and own vehicle for travel to clients.

NICE TO HAVES :

A strong sales background working in (or with) the Real Estate industry.
Tech / Saas industry experience.
Experience implementing technology solutions.
