The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Account Manager to join our Commercial team on a 12-month Max Term Contract, managing one of Australia's most important retail partnerships - ALDI Australia.

Reporting to the Customer Director – ALDI & Metcash, you will lead the day-to-day commercial relationship with ALDI, developing and executing customer strategies that deliver profitable growth while strengthening long-term partnerships. Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

Manage the day-to-day commercial relationship with ALDI Australia.
Develop and execute customer plans that deliver profitable sales growth and category success.
Lead customer meetings, strategic reviews and business planning sessions.
Identify commercial opportunities through category insights, customer data and market trends.
Manage pricing submissions, ranging proposals and internal approval processes.
Lead end-to-end project management of new products, product changes and recipe improvements.
Monitor sales, profitability and operational performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of customer initiatives.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal governance processes.
Other ad hoc duties as per directed.

The Person
You will be a commercially astute Account Manager who enjoys building strong customer relationships and delivering results in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You'll ideally bring:

Experience managing major retail customers within the Australian FMCG industry.
Exposure to ALDI or private label customers will be highly regarded.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related discipline.
Strong commercial acumen with experience analysing sales performance and identifying growth opportunities.
Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
A collaborative approach and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business.
