About the Role:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented Guest Service Agents to join The Brighton Hotel front office team, on a casual basis.

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of the hotel, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service throughout their stay. Your role is crucial in creating a positive and lasting impression, with values and attitude being key to success.

You will work closely with the wider hotel team to ensure guests receive a seamless experience from arrival through to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests upon arrival and provide information about hotel facilities and services
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and professionally
Provide information about hotel amenities, services and local attractions
Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and courteously
Manage reservations and room assignments effectively
Utilise the hotel's property management system to process bookings and updates
Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Manage phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments
Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the front desk

About You:

Has previous experience in a guest service or front office/reception role
Previous experience using Opera or a similar hotel property management system is highly regarded
Has excellent communication skills
Has strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction
Can multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Is flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Has strong attention to detail and a positive attitude towards teamwork
Has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
