Business Development Executive – Metaweb

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the company's growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with excellent sales, networking, and relationship management skills, capable of understanding client needs and presenting tailored digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and digital channels.
Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Understand client business objectives and recommend suitable web development, digital marketing, branding, and technology solutions.
Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations, and contracts.
Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and sales presentations.
Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close deals.
Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to develop customised client solutions.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and update CRM records regularly.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
Represent Metaweb.au at networking events, exhibitions, and industry conferences where required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or account management.
Experience in digital marketing, web development, SaaS, or technology services is highly desirable.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to build relationships and close sales.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Vehicle and Drivers liscense
