About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and support business growth. The successful candidate will work closely with management to execute digital and traditional marketing initiatives while monitoring campaign performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for:

Planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies and advertising campaigns to support business objectives.
Advising management on marketing initiatives and promotional activities to effectively reach target markets.
Researching market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
Preparing and executing marketing plans, objectives, policies and programs.
Coordinating advertising campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, website content and promotional materials.
Creating, scheduling and publishing engaging content across social media platforms and the company website.
Managing relationships with external suppliers, designers, printers and advertising agencies.
Monitoring the performance of marketing campaigns and preparing regular reports with recommendations for improvement.
Analysing digital marketing metrics, website traffic and campaign data using relevant analytics tools.
Recommending improvements to website content and digital marketing strategies to enhance search engine performance (SEO).
Assisting with branding, business development initiatives and promotional events.
Ensuring all marketing activities align with company objectives, branding guidelines and budgets.
Maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety policies and company procedures.
Performing other duties as reasonably directed by management.

Skills & Experience

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Marketing, Business, Communications or a closely related discipline.
Relevant professional marketing certifications will be highly regarded.

Experience

Minimum two years' experience in a Marketing Specialist or similar professional marketing role.
Demonstrated experience planning and implementing digital marketing campaigns.
Experience managing social media platforms and marketing content.
Experience analysing campaign performance and preparing marketing reports.

Skills

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

Strong knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices.
Experience with social media marketing and content management.
Knowledge of SEO and website optimisation techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Experience using marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics and similar platforms is desirable.

Performance Goals

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns that support business growth.
Deliver marketing projects within agreed budgets and timeframes.
Produce high-quality marketing content across digital channels.
Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reporting with actionable recommendations.
Increase brand awareness and customer engagement through effective marketing initiatives.
Maintain accurate marketing records and documentation.
Collaborate professionally with internal staff, clients and external suppliers.
Demonstrate initiative, professionalism and continuous improvement in all aspects of the role.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
