We are seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to support the continued growth and development of the business through market research, marketing planning, advertising, digital marketing, customer analysis and promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analyse customer needs, market trends, competitor activities and business conditions to identify potential marketing opportunities for the organisation’s products and services and provide market insights to support marketing planning.
- Manage SEO activities and Google Ads campaigns as part of the organisation’s advertising, digital marketing and promotional programs, planning and coordinating campaigns to support sales objectives and improve online visibility, customer engagement and lead generation.
- Coordinate and manage social media marketing activities, including planning and publishing marketing content to promote the organisation’s products and services, strengthen brand awareness and support customer acquisition.
- Contribute to the development, coordination and implementation of marketing plans, advertising strategies, objectives and promotional programs, providing recommendations on appropriate advertising approaches and campaigns to reach target markets and support sales objectives.
- Analyse and report on the performance of social media, digital marketing, advertising and other promotional activities, providing insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness and support business growth.
- Work with CRM systems to manage and analyse customer data, identify customer characteristics and develop targeted customer segments, providing insights to support product mix, pricing, promotional and distribution decisions and targeted marketing initiatives.
- Liaise with local business clients, suppliers and other relevant stakeholders to assess customer requirements, obtain market feedback and provide input on marketing and advertising approaches, target markets, promotional activities and potential business opportunities.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Management or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a Marketing Specialist or similar professional marketing role.
- Demonstrated experience planning and implementing digital marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing social media platforms and marketing content.
- Experience analysing campaign performance and preparing marketing reports.
- Experience using marketing analytics tools such as Google Analytics and similar platforms is desirable.
- Knowledge of SEO and website optimisation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with management, clients, suppliers and other external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
