Job Description

As the Purchasing Executive, you will be responsible for assisting with the ongoing provisioning of the vessels, warehouse stock and general office ordering.

What You'll Do

Maintain product/stock codes in relevant software including liaison with suppliers.
Raise Purchase Orders as required.
Maintain office stock levels for stationery and amenities.
Assist at wharf as required for ship turnarounds.
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
Maintain records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Track orders and ensure timely delivery

What You'll Bring

Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role.
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)
Experience with freight logistics.
Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office 365
Experience with Attaché & Helm Martime Operations programs desirable
Great organizational and planning skills.
Ability to perform tasks autonomously and be a team player
Eligibility to apply for Maritime Safety Identification Card
Manual Driver’s License
Forklift License desirable.
