Join our Brisbane Fitting Lab, where precision matters. We specialise in edging and fitting optical lenses into frames to ensure every customer receives high-quality glasses. We’re seeking an Optical Operations Supervisor to lead our production operations, manage the team, and ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality across all processes.

Your responsibilities

Coordinate and lead the daily activities of the production team in our Brisbane lab.
Ensure timely production and manage work-in-progress (WIP).
Analyze quality metrics and recommend process improvements.
Collaborate with the EHS (Environmental Health and Safety), Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams.
Oversee domestic logistics and inventory management.

About you

Experience: Proven experience in a production setting with a hands-on approach.
Leadership: Prior leadership experience is essential.
Optical Expertise: Qualifications as an Optical Mechanic, Optical Dispenser, or equivalent experience in optical fitting is highly desired.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze quality and recommend process improvements.
Collaboration: Experience working alongside EHS, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams.
