Sales & Accounts Growth Manager – Branded Merchandise

POD – Promo on Demand
Villawood, NSW | Full-time | Hybrid

Are you an experienced branded merchandise sales professional who knows how to turn a customer brief into a creative, commercially successful solution?

POD – Promo on Demand is looking for a Sales & Accounts Growth Manager to generate new business, grow key customer accounts and deliver end-to-end branded merchandise programs.

This role is dedicated to POD and is ideal for someone with current experience in promotional products, corporate merchandise or branded apparel. You will work with customers from initial concept and product sourcing through to quoting, artwork approval, production, online stores, inventory and fulfilment.

POD delivers end-to-end branded merchandise and promotional product solutions, including:

Corporate merchandise and promotional products
Branded apparel
Campaign and event merchandise
Client-branded online stores
Product sourcing and procurement
Inventory management
Kitting, packing and distribution
On-demand ordering and fulfilment

We work with corporate organisations, retailers, franchises, agencies and other businesses to create merchandise programs that bring their brands to life.

The Opportunity

As our Sales & Accounts Growth Manager, you will be responsible for building a strong sales pipeline, winning new customers and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts.

You will develop creative merchandise solutions, prepare commercially accurate quotations and coordinate projects with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands both the relationship and operational sides of merchandise sales.

Key Responsibilities

Generate and convert new branded merchandise opportunities.
Manage and grow a portfolio of POD customers.
Conduct outbound calls, emails, meetings and presentations.
Develop tailored merchandise proposals and product recommendations.
Source products from local and international suppliers.
Prepare accurate quotations covering products, decoration, freight, storage and fulfilment.
Negotiate pricing while maintaining approved margin expectations.
Coordinate samples, artwork, proofs, production and delivery.
Identify opportunities for branded online stores and inventory programs.
Support stock forecasting, replenishment, kitting and fulfilment.
Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts and customer records.
Track orders and provide customers with timely progress updates.
Resolve customer, supplier or delivery issues professionally.
Achieve agreed revenue, margin and account-growth targets.

What You’ll Bring

A minimum of three years, with three to five years preferred, of recent experience in branded merchandise, promotional products or corporate apparel.
Current knowledge of merchandise products, suppliers, decoration methods and industry lead times.
Proven sales, business development or account-management experience.
A track record of growing accounts and achieving revenue or margin targets.
Experience sourcing merchandise and preparing detailed quotations.
Strong commercial judgement and confidence negotiating with customers and suppliers.
Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Confidence coordinating jobs from customer brief through to final delivery.
Experience using CRM, quoting or production-management systems.

Experience with PrintIQ, online merchandise stores, inventory management, warehousing or fulfilment will be highly regarded.

Location and Working Arrangements

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Villawood, NSW. Regular onsite attendance and customer meetings are required, with occasional travel for client visits, supplier meetings and industry events.
