To be successful in this role, you will need:

Bachelor of Science (Environmental Health) degree or qualifications acceptable for Public Health Act 2016
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience as an Environmental Health Officer in a state or local government authority
A passion for environmental health and a desire to contribute to community health and wellbeing.
Exceptional customer service skills and an ability to negotiate positive outcomes.
An ability to work effectively and add value to the team.
Strong communication skills with colleagues and the community.
Sound knowledge of legislation and policy relevant to environmental health.
Sound technical knowledge related to inspection, education and enforcement processes.
National Police Clearance (less than 3 months old).
Current unrestricted C class national drivers’ licence
