Full Job Description

Ranomata Cuisine is looking for an experienced, reliable and highly organised Payroll & Administration Officer to manage the important behind-the-scenes administration of our restaurant.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident handling payroll, employee paperwork, business emails, records and general office administration. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of these responsibilities and ensure everything is organised, accurate and completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

Process staff payroll accurately and on time
Review staff timesheets, hours and attendance records
Maintain employee records and paperwork
Assist with onboarding documentation for new employees
Manage business emails and general correspondence
Organise and maintain invoices, receipts and business records
Assist with rosters and staff administration
Follow up outstanding paperwork and documentation
Assist with basic bookkeeping and accounts administration
Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems
Communicate with staff and management regarding administrative matters
Ensure confidential employee and business information is handled professionally
Provide general administrative support to the owners and management team

The successful applicant will:

Have previous experience in payroll, administration or a similar role
Be confident using computers, email and office software
Have excellent attention to detail
Be organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Be trustworthy, reliable and professional
Have good written and verbal communication skills
Be comfortable working independently
Experience in hospitality or restaurant administration is highly regarded
Bookkeeping or accounts experience is an advantage

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
