About the Opportunity

At WesTrac, we're powering the machines and partnerships that keep Australia's mining industry moving.

We are seeking an experienced MARC Manager to lead the successful delivery of a major Maintenance and Repair Contract (MARC) operation across key NSW mining customers. This is a critical senior leadership position responsible for the safety, operational, commercial and customer performance of a large-scale mining maintenance contract.

Reporting to the Regional Manager – Hunter Valley, you will have overall accountability for contract health, fleet reliability, customer satisfaction, financial performance, continuous improvement and the leadership of multidisciplinary teams operating in a complex mining environment.

This role offers the opportunity to influence strategic customer partnerships, optimise fleet performance and drive operational excellence while leading a high-performing team committed to delivering exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the safe and successful delivery of MARC operations, ensuring contractual obligations, customer expectations and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.
Drive fleet reliability, maintenance performance and asset availability outcomes to maximise customer productivity and value.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders, acting as the key interface between WesTrac and the customer.
Take ownership of contract commercial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, reporting and P&L accountability.
Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
Identify and implement operational improvement initiatives that enhance fleet performance, contract health and customer outcomes.

Skills & Experience

Extensive leadership experience within mining, heavy mobile equipment, maintenance, engineering, reliability or operational environments.
Demonstrated success managing large-scale maintenance contracts, mining service agreements or operational business units.
Strong commercial acumen with proven responsibility for P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
Proven ability to build influential relationships and engage effectively with customers, senior leaders and operational stakeholders.
Strong technical understanding of mining fleet maintenance, asset management and Caterpillar or similar heavy mobile equipment.
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Maintenance Management or a related discipline, coupled with a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
