Full Job Description

Office Assistant – Part Time

Lytton, Brisbane | Approx. 20–25 hours per week

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Office Assistant to join our small team at our Luke Street office in Lytton.

This is a hands-on support role working across our construction and door manufacturing businesses. You’ll help keep the day-to-day administration moving, taking care of a variety of routine tasks and helping the wider team when needed.

The role requires around 20-25 hours per week initially, with potential to increase over time. There is flexibility around the exact hours for the right person.

What you’ll be doing

Your day-to-day work will include:

· Data entry across our business systems

· Processing door orders

· Ordering materials, supplies and other items as required

· Booking flights, accommodation and other travel

· Working with spreadsheets and other software systems

· Preparing and processing routine paperwork and documentation

· Filing and general document management

· Assisting with basic accounts administration and processing

· Helping maintain accurate business records

· Assisting the project and management team with general administration

· Following up information and keeping routine tasks moving

· General office duties as required

About you

We’re not necessarily looking for someone with years of experience. More important to us is someone who is:

· Reliable and takes pride in getting things right

· Organised and able to stay on top of repetitive tasks

· Comfortable using computers and learning new software

· Accurate with data entry and numbers

· Happy to ask questions when they’re unsure

· Able to work independently once shown what to do

· Friendly and comfortable working with a small team

· Willing to pitch in with whatever needs doing

Previous administration, accounts or data-entry experience would be helpful, but we’re happy to train the right person.

You’ll need reasonable computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with construction administration, project management software or accounting systems would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.

The role

Location: Luke Street, Lytton.
Hours: negotiable for the right person, the business operates between 06:00 – 14:00, Monday to Friday.
Rate of pay: Dependent upon experience and employment arrangement.

This could be a great fit for someone looking for consistent part-time hours while still having their afternoons free.

You’ll be joining a small, down-to-earth team with full supervision and support. You’ll have plenty of variety and the opportunity to learn how two growing businesses operate.
