SEAM Spatial is looking for a People & Culture Administrator to join our team on Bribie Island. This is a hands-on role supporting a broad range of People & Culture activities and helping create a positive experience for our employees from onboarding through to offboarding.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in HR administration, office administration or a related support role who is looking to grow their career in People & Culture.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, approachable and highly organised, with a genuine interest in supporting people and the business.
You will ideally have:
- Experience in HR administration, office administration, travel coordination or a similar support role
- A qualification in Human Resources or a related field, or currently studying towards one (desirable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
- A practical, problem-solving mindset and a “can do” attitude
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with an HRIS such as ELMO is desirable
- Experience with travel booking systems is desirable
You’ll be someone who can stay organised when priorities change, communicate confidently with people at all levels and take ownership of getting things done.
As the People and Culture Administrator you will be responsible for:
- Supporting employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, workflows and HR system updates
- Maintaining accurate employee records, HRIS data and personnel files
- Providing support to employees using HR systems and internal platforms
- Assisting with remuneration and benefits administration
- Coordinating uniforms, welcome packs and employee communications
- Maintaining training, qualification and certification records
- Supporting compliance reporting, audits, inductions and learning and development activities
- Assisting with document control and compliance requirements
- Coordinating employee and contractor travel, including flights, accommodation and car hire
- Supporting FIFO/DIDO rosters and conference and event travel arrangements
- Managing travel enquiries, cancellations, credits and itinerary changes
- Supporting internal communications, shared calendars, rosters and administrative systems
- Providing general administrative and systems support as required
