Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to prepare high-quality beverages while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
Mix cocktails, pour beer, and serve wine according to venue standards.
Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times.
Restock bar supplies, glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
Process customer orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
Check customer identification to ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws.
Monitor responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and refuse service where required.
Work closely with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service.
Maintain stock levels and report shortages to management.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and cleaning.
Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene standards are followed.

Skills & Qualifications

Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and coffee preparation is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Positive attitude with a team-player mindset.

Essential Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 kg when required.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong customer service skills with a professional appearance.
Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and efficiency.
