Position Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to prepare high-quality beverages while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Mix cocktails, pour beer, and serve wine according to venue standards.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times.
- Restock bar supplies, glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
- Check customer identification to ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws.
- Monitor responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and refuse service where required.
- Work closely with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service.
- Maintain stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and cleaning.
- Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene standards are followed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and coffee preparation is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude with a team-player mindset.
Essential Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 kg when required.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional appearance.
