Experienced X-ray Operators or applicants with previous screening experience will be highly regarded. Previous aviation or screening experience is an advantage. ‍

About the Roles

We are expanding and seeking passionate, reliable Aviation Screening Officers to join our growing aviation security team. You will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of airport operations through:

Passenger & Cabin Baggage Screening
Access Control & Security Screening Points
Customer & Visitor Screening Operations

Flexible rosters are available (day, night, weekends) across a 24/7 schedule, with both permanent and casual positions to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct passenger, baggage, and personal screening in line with aviation security regulations
Operate X-ray screening equipment and screening technology effectively
Identify prohibited items and respond appropriately to security threats
Maintain compliance with airport security procedures and SOPs
Provide professional customer service while ensuring safety and security standards are met
Complete incident reports and maintain accurate screening documentation
Work collaboratively with airport stakeholders, airlines, and law enforcement agencies.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in aviation screening, aviation security, or airport operations is highly regarded
Experienced X-ray Operators or applicants with screening qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply
Strong understanding of aviation security protocols and regulatory compliance
High level of professionalism, observation skills, and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to remain calm and follow procedures in fast-paced environments
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Qualifications

The following are required, or willingness to obtain:

NSW Security Licence (1A minimum)
ASIC (preferred)• Cert II in Transport Security Protection (highly regarded)
Current First Aid & CPR• White Card; Fire Warden and Traffic Control
Unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence• Experience operating X-ray screening systems (preferred)
Ability to pass police, drug, and alcohol checks.
