Your impact
As a Power Generation Electrical Engineer, you will help deliver critical energy infrastructure projects that support Australia's transition to a more sustainable and reliable energy future. Working within Jacobs' growing Energy & Power team, you'll apply your technical expertise to develop innovative engineering solutions across renewable and conventional power generation projects, helping clients solve complex challenges while contributing to a more connected and sustainable world.

Join Jacobs' growing Energy & Power team as a Power Generation Electrical Engineer based in Sydney. In this role, you'll contribute to the delivery of critical energy infrastructure projects that support Australia's evolving energy landscape. Working alongside industry-leading technical specialists, you'll apply your electrical engineering expertise across a diverse range of power generation projects, helping clients navigate complex technical challenges and deliver reliable, sustainable energy solutions. Responsibilities
Deliver electrical engineering services for power generation and renewable energy projects across various project phases.
Prepare and review electrical designs, technical specifications, calculations and engineering documentation.
Support project delivery through site inspections, technical assessments and engineering activities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, efficient and innovative engineering solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while contributing to high-quality project outcomes.
Proactively identify technical risks, opportunities and improvement initiatives throughout project delivery.
Here's what you'll need
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience delivering electrical engineering design on power generation, utilities or renewable energy projects.
Strong design engineering capability, including experience reviewing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Previous experience within a consulting engineering, owner's engineer or EPC environment.
Knowledge of power generation technologies such as wind, solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and conventional generation assets.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
