Pristine Interior Concepts Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our growing team at our office in Hallam, VIC 3803.
We are an established construction business specialising in waterproofing, tiling and bathroom renovations. We are looking for a reliable and experienced bookkeeper who can take ownership of our day-to-day accounts and help keep our financial systems organised and up to date.
The Role
- Initially 2 days per week
- Approximately 9:00am–3:00pm – school-friendly hours
- Based at our Hallam office
- Flexible days for the right person
- Opportunity for additional hours or days as the business grows
- $38–$45 per hour casual + super, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Processing supplier and subcontractor invoices
- Payroll and employee-related bookkeeping
- BAS/GST preparation and record keeping
- Job costing and allocation of expenses to projects
- Assisting with progress claims and invoicing
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- General financial and accounts administration
- Liaising with our accountant when required
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero
- Experience within the construction, building or trades industry is highly regarded
- A good understanding of job costing, progress claims and construction accounting
- Experience with payroll, BAS/GST, accounts payable and receivable
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of the bookkeeping function
- Good communication skills and a practical, organised approach
QuickBooks / Xero
We currently operate using QuickBooks Online, however, we are open to transitioning to Xero and would welcome input from an experienced bookkeeper on which system would best suit our growing business.
