Part-Time Bookkeeper – 1 Day Per Week

About the role:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team on site for one day a week - Tuesday, as this is when we do our weekly pay runs.
This is a great opportunity for a university student studying accounting, finance or business, or an experienced bookkeeper looking for a flexible role.
Working closely with the team, you will assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and help ensure our financial records are accurate and up to date.
Key responsibilities:
· Completing bank reconciliations
· Processing and coding credit card transactions
· Accounts payable, including entering and processing supplier invoices
· Reconciling supplier statements and investigating any discrepancies
· Accounts receivable, allocating and processing customer payments
· Following up outstanding customer payments
· Completing other ad hoc finance and administrative tasks
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
· Reliable, organised and has excellent attention to detail
· Comfortable working independently and managing their time
· Interested in developing their bookkeeping and accounting skills
· Confident using Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new accounting systems and software
· A good communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
· Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is desirable but not essential. We are happy to consider a university student or someone early in their accounting career who has a strong interest in bookkeeping and finance.
