ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Operations team at our branch based in Milperra NSW, 2214. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. In this role your key responsibilities would include:

Partnering with department managers, administration and operational staff to ensure the efficient operation of incoming and outgoing stock
Control public access to our sites to ensure customers have a great first impression of Pickles and are safe
Ensure all assets arriving are correctly allocated to our internal software PAS
Ensure all assets being collected are checked out of PAS correctly
Ensure chain of responsibility and safe act observation inspections are completed correctly and meet all monthly targets
Provide exceptional customer service to all customers who attend the site
Effectively manage shift work by coordinating and supervising staff across both 6:00am and 8:00am start times.
Ensure all drivers, contractors and visitors to our site are inducted to ensure safety, compliance & security.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:

Demonstrated understanding of operational requirements in an auction yard or similar
Experience supervising and motivating a small team
Process driven
Strong attention to detail
Clear and effective communicator
Customer focus and able to build strong relationships
