We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Head Office team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the accounts receivable function, ensuring customer accounts are maintained accurately and payments are collected in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and allocate customer payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Follow up overdue accounts by phone and email.
- Prepare and issue customer statements.
- Maintain accurate customer account records.
- Process credit applications and perform credit checks.
- Monitor customer credit limits and recommend account actions where required.
- Liaise with customers and internal staff to resolve account queries.
- Assist with month-end accounts receivable procedures.
- Prepare reports on outstanding debt and debtor ageing.
- Support the finance team with general administrative duties as required.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using accounting/ERP software (Pronto experience highly regarded but not essential).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
