ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Operations team at our branch based in Milperra NSW, 2214. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. In this role your key responsibilities would include:
- Partnering with department managers, administration and operational staff to ensure the efficient operation of incoming and outgoing stock
- Control public access to our sites to ensure customers have a great first impression of Pickles and are safe
- Ensure all assets arriving are correctly allocated to our internal software PAS
- Ensure all assets being collected are checked out of PAS correctly
- Ensure chain of responsibility and safe act observation inspections are completed correctly and meet all monthly targets
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers who attend the site
- Effectively manage shift work by coordinating and supervising staff across both 6:00am and 8:00am start times.
- Ensure all drivers, contractors and visitors to our site are inducted to ensure safety, compliance & security.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated understanding of operational requirements in an auction yard or similar
- Experience supervising and motivating a small team
- Process driven
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear and effective communicator
- Customer focus and able to build strong relationships
