Exciting Opportunity: Allied Health Receptionist

Casual | Lowood | Starting at $33.71 per hour

We’re looking for a motivated Allied Health Receptionist to join our supportive administration team. Based primarily at our Lowood Head Office, this is a great opportunity to build your career in a growing healthcare organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

Welcoming and assisting patients over the phone and via email
Managing appointments, cancellations and rescheduling
Supporting a busy reception environment with high-volume calls
Liaising with patients, families, clinicians, GPs and other health professionals
Maintaining accurate patient records and managing data entry
Providing general administrative support to our clinical team
Delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction

About You

You’ll be organised, reliable and confident communicating with a wide range of people. Experience in medical or allied health reception will be highly regarded, but we also welcome applicants with strong administration and customer service experience.

You will have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time management skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems
Experience with appointment booking systems (highly regarded)
Strong typing and computer skills
A current Police Check, or willingness to obtain one

Qualifications in business administration, medical reception or a related field are highly regarded but not essential.
