Junior Outbound Event Sales Representative

Casual | 2 Days Per Week

Location: Sydney
Employment Type: Casual
Hours: 2 days per week
Industry: Hospitality & Events

We’re looking for a Junior Outbound Event Sales Representative to join our team and help drive new event business.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident, outgoing and commercially minded, and wants to build experience in sales, events and hospitality.

You’ll be responsible for proactively reaching out to potential clients, generating new leads and converting enquiries into confirmed events.

What You'll Be Doing

Make outbound calls and contact businesses, groups and potential event clients
Identify and generate new event sales opportunities
Follow up leads and previous enquiries
Introduce our venue and event offerings to potential clients
Build relationships with businesses, event planners and prospective customers
Qualify leads and understand what clients are looking for
Prepare and send event information, proposals and quotes
Maintain accurate records of leads and sales activity
Follow up consistently to convert opportunities into bookings
Work closely with the events and management team to ensure a smooth handover of confirmed events
Assist with basic event sales administration and reporting

Who We're Looking For

You don't need years of sales experience — we're looking for the right attitude and personality.

You'll ideally be:

Confident speaking to people over the phone
Outgoing, energetic and personable
Comfortable making cold calls and starting conversations
Motivated by targets and achieving results
Organised and good with follow-ups
Comfortable using email, spreadsheets and basic CRM systems
A strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
Interested in hospitality, events, nightlife or sales
Reliable and able to work independently
Hungry to learn and develop your sales skills

Previous hospitality, events, customer service or sales experience is preferred but not essential.
