The Opportunity

Carey Baptist College is seeking an outstanding Personal Assistant to the Head of Secondary to join our Harrisdale Campus.

This is far more than a traditional administrative role. It is an opportunity to become a trusted partner to the Head of Secondary, providing high-level executive support that enables effective leadership across one of the College's largest and most dynamic learning communities.

Every day brings something different. You might be coordinating major school events, managing competing priorities, preparing confidential documentation, supporting staff and families, or ensuring important initiatives continue moving forward. You'll be at the centre of a busy Secondary School, working alongside leaders who are committed to creating an exceptional educational experience for every student.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Personal Assistant to the Head of Secondary, you'll play a central role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Secondary School.

Your responsibilities will include:
Providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Head of Secondary.
Managing a busy and ever-changing schedule, ensuring priorities are coordinated effectively.
Acting as a trusted first point of contact for staff, students, parents and external stakeholders.
Preparing correspondence, reports, presentations and confidential documentation.
Coordinating meetings, events and key school activities.
Supporting leadership initiatives and ensuring actions are followed through.
Maintaining accurate records and administrative systems.
Exercising sound judgement when handling confidential and sensitive matters.
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and the overall effectiveness of the Secondary Office.
