About the role
This role supports the day-to-day and strategic operations of Swim, Sport and Leisure services, with a strong focus on workforce coordination, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. You will contribute to delivering high-quality, community-focused services while identifying opportunities to enhance performance and operational outcomes.

Work type: Permanent Full Time
Classification: Band 6 Commencing at $98,633 pa plus super

Key responsibilities include:

Support recruitment and workforce scheduling across the Swim, Sport and Leisure network to ensure efficient operations.
Monitor and analyse program performance against KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Assist in the delivery and operational management of programs across multiple facilities.
Provide advice and support to stakeholders on operational and project-related matters.
Contribute to project coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support service delivery.

About you
You are a proactive and organised professional with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. With a keen eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement, you thrive in a dynamic environment and are motivated to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes for the community.

Essential Experience:

A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Sport and Recreation, Business or Management, with relevant professional experience, or a lesser formal qualification with substantial experience in the Aquatic and Recreation Industry.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Current Working with Children Check.
Preferred candidates will be required to undergo a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment as part of the recruitment process (funded by the City).
