Description:
About the Opportunity

This is far more than a traditional dealership leadership role.

Reporting to an accomplished and highly respected Group General Manager, and supported by forward-thinking Dealer Principals, you will have full responsibility for driving dealership performance across New Vehicle Sales, Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales, Central Star Pre-Owned Sales, Finance & Insurance, and Aftercare.

Mercedes-Benz Waverley is a high-volume luxury dealership with a proud history of success and has played a pivotal role in helping our Mercedes-Benz Group become a recognised leader within both the automotive and luxury retail sectors. Your focus will be on maintaining this momentum while continuing to elevate performance, customer satisfaction, profitability, and team engagement.

This role requires a strategic leader who can inspire high-performing teams, develop future leaders, build strong stakeholder relationships, and deliver exceptional commercial outcomes while maintaining the premium standards expected of the Mercedes-Benz brand.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop Sales, Finance & Insurance, and Aftercare departments
Drive new and pre-owned vehicle sales performance and profitability
Coach and mentor managers and emerging leaders
Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the ownership journey
Manage sales targets, forecasting, stock management, and business planning
Maximise finance and aftercare performance while maintaining compliance standards
Partner with executive leadership to identify growth opportunities and improve performance
Build and maintain strong relationships with Mercedes-Benz Australia and key stakeholders
Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, customer focus, and continuous improvement
Ensure operational excellence across all sales-related functions
