Overview

We’re an Australian car wrecker business looking for a practical marketer who can help us build marketing from the ground up.

Right now, we have little to no active marketing in place. We want someone who can help generate more:

inbound calls
quote requests
car removal enquiries
wrecking bookings
parts enquiries

This role suits someone who understands local service business marketing and knows how to turn search demand into real jobs booked.

What you’ll do

Build a practical local marketing plan focused on leads
Improve or set up our Google Business Profile
Help us run or improve Google Ads
Recommend suburb/location targeting
Improve website or landing page conversion for quote requests and calls
Track enquiries, calls, and booked jobs
Identify the best channels for local lead generation
Test offers, messaging, and call-to-action angles
Help prioritise what to do first with limited time and budget

What we’re looking for

Experience generating leads for local service businesses
Strong understanding of Google Ads, Google Business Profile, local SEO, and landing pages
Can explain strategy in plain English
Focused on results, not vanity metrics
Comfortable working with a business that is starting from scratch on marketing
Able to move fast and recommend practical next steps

Nice to have

Experience in automotive, towing, wrecking, recycling, or trade/service businesses
Experience improving phone call conversion or quote form conversion
Ability to review tracking and lead quality, not just click volume
