About the Role - Monday to Friday Full time 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM role.

You’ll take pride in the presentation of a well maintained home and join a team of dedicated and caring individuals that are enriching and celebrating residents’ lives every day.

In this busy role you’ll:

Use your can-do, collaborative approach to ensure the presentation of the home is of the highest standard.
Enjoy the variety of working both inside and outside, the challenge of a multitude of different tasks and the opportunity of getting to know residents as you support them with their maintenance requirements.
Have good attention to detail, the ability to co-ordinate the maintenance program and excellent record keeping in this interesting role where your general handy skills are highly valued.

Duties that our Maintenance Officer performs :

Plans, documents, implements, monitors, and evaluates a preventative and corrective maintenance program for buildings, equipment, and grounds.
Ensures preventative maintenance and corrective action is conducted according to legal requirements and a documented schedule, including the requirements for essential services.
Maintains accurate records of the corrective and preventative maintenance conducted.
Contributes to refurbishment, equipment replacement and capital works planning.
Contract management of maintenance suppliers, participating in selection, orientation, supervision, follow up of non-conformances.
Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety and Equal Employment Opportunity principles.
Focus on continuous improvement.
Other duties as directed by the Residential Aged Care Manager.
