EMYTE Australia is a growing supplier of hydraulic fittings, hose assemblies, stainless steel tubing, instrumentation fittings, valves and fluid connection solutions. We support customers across manufacturing, mining, transport, food processing, OEMs and industrial engineering industries throughout Australia.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to help expand our business across Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing industrial supplier with strong technical support, quality products and genuine long-term career opportunities.

With extensive local stock in Melbourne and the backing of our own manufacturing facilities in China, EMYTE offers customers competitive pricing, reliable quality, fast delivery and responsive technical support. Our customers include hydraulic service providers, OEM manufacturers, mining contractors, engineering workshops, transport companies and industrial distributors throughout Australia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, developing new business and providing practical solutions to industrial customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and growing an existing customer portfolio.
Developing new business opportunities across Australia.
Visiting customers throughout Australia to identify opportunities and provide product solutions.
Developing relationships with OEMs, distributors and industrial end users.
Identifying opportunities within existing customer accounts.
Preparing quotations and following up sales enquiries.
Providing technical product support and outstanding customer service.
Working closely with our internal sales, warehouse and procurement teams.
Maintaining accurate customer records using our CRM system.
Attending trade shows, customer visits and industry events as required.
Achieving sales targets while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships and achieving results.

You may have experience in one or more of the following industries:

Hydraulics
Fluid Power
Industrial Hose & Fittings
Instrumentation
Industrial Automation
Pneumatics
Pumps
Process Equipment
Mining Equipment
Valves
Bearings & Power Transmission
Engineering Distribution
Manufacturing

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous B2B sales, account management or business development experience.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
The ability to understand technical products and customer applications.
The ability to read technical drawings or specifications is an advantage.
A current Australian driver's licence.
Full Australian working rights.

Experience selling technical or industrial products will be highly regarded; however, product training will be provided for the right candidate.
