Exciting opportunity to lead our Geelong Donor Centre, VIC
Permanent Full-Time opportunity - Monday- Friday (Onsite)
Competitive salary package from $120,000 + super, with flexibility to negotiate based on experience

About the role

Lifeblood is seeking an experienced leader to take charge of a fast-paced, high-performing team in a clinical environment. As a hands-on, people-focused Donor Centre Manager at our Geelong Donor Centre, you will lead a team of up to 35 direct reports, shaping a culture where both donors and staff feel valued, supported, and motivated to achieve excellence every day.

What you’ll do:

Lead the quality, safety, and operational performance of blood donation and blood products.
Coach, mentor, and develop a large, diverse team, driving continuous improvement across key service performance indicators (KPIs).
Roster and deploy staff efficiently to meet donor attendance, skill mix, and operational demands.
Foster a safe, collaborative environment where employees can communicate openly, share ideas, and grow.
Be a change leader – clearly explaining the “why” and supporting your team through operational or process improvements.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Marketing and Regional Partnerships, to optimise donor panels and engagement.

What we’re looking for:

Strong operational leadership experience, ideally within a highly regulated environment, engaging large teams
Passion for coaching and developing talent, identifying potential, and growing high-performing teams.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Skilled in people leadership, using empathy and human-centric approaches to drive team engagement and performance.
Highly committed to safety, quality, and compliance.
