As a Senior International Student Support Officer, you will have:
- Prioritise and manage work effectively, anticipating challenges and adapting plans to stay on track
- Analyse information from diverse sources to identify key insights and support sound decisions
- Regularly communicate with International students and provide student support services
- Solve problems by evaluating options and implementing practical, effective solutions
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate clearly and confidently
- Deliver high-quality outcomes by coordinating activities, providing practical advice, and supporting continuous improvement and team development
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist knowledge; or equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training
- Experience providing professional advice and delivering outcomes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Sound knowledge of relevant policies and governance, in particular ESOS Act 2018 for international students and students Under 18 years of age and of the Victorian Child Safe Standards and Australia Awards policies
