The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of all Victorians. We’re focused on
supporting Victorians to be as healthy as they can; whether through alerting them to seasonal risks like thunderstorm asthma, notifying them of contact with
communicable diseases, safeguarding their drinking water, developing the best health, wellbeing and care facilities in the world, being at the forefront of mental health and
wellbeing treatment or accelerating medical research. It’s all part of the way we partner with the community to help every individual lead a healthy life.

About the role:

Reporting to the Director Strategic Communications & Engagement, the Head of Marketing Campaigns leads the strategy, governance and integrity of the department's advertising process and provides leadership and expertise to deliver the marketing and communications for the Gambling Harm Prevention and Response programs.

About you:

Can you demonstrate the following:

Passionate about supporting people to change their lives for the better?
An experienced marketing and communications professional, skilled in developing and leading behavioural change marketing strategies, ready to deliver best practice campaigns?
Experienced in leading a team to deliver and continuously improve our audience-led marketing and communications with a multi-channel approach?

Qualification:

A tertiary qualification in fields related to marketing, visual arts, communications, digital media, or public relations is highly desirable.

Specialist Expertise:

Demonstrated experience in people management.
Demonstrated experience leading a marketing campaign, communications or advertising team and delivering contemporary marketing and communications campaigns in a multichannel context.
