Primary Purpose & Scope
The Regional Head of Entertainment – APAC plays a strategic leadership role in driving the growth and execution of TCC's entertainment offering across the APAC region, based in Hong Kong or Sydney. This position is responsible for driving Entertainment sales—directly or through their direct reports—by delivering to clients market-ready solutions that enable TCC to quickly engage clients with compelling, family- and fan-focused campaigns. The Regional Head of Entertainment – APAC will leverage both established licenses (centrally or locally acquired) and original IP, ensuring seamless development, commercialization, and implementation of entertainment programs tailored to diverse APAC market needs.
Role and Responsibilities

Lead APAC Entertainment Growth: Drive the development, sales, and execution of entertainment-based programs across APAC, focused on key consumer segments including families with children and fans of entertainment.

Strengthen APAC Licensing Portfolio: Collaborate closely with the Group Licensing team and local Entertainment Managers to identify, evaluate, and secure family entertainment licenses that resonate across APAC markets.

Support APAC Client Pitches: Actively participate in key retailer pitches across APAC markets, helping to craft compelling narratives and solutions that enhance TCC’s value proposition and win rate.

Translate IP into Commercial Solutions: Brief the core functions of the Entertainment Team to transform licensed and proprietary IP into compelling, turnkey program solutions for our sales teams.

Steer Creative Development: In conjunction with the other Regional Heads of Entertainment, steer the creative vision and Entertainment Product Development by identifying and suggesting impactful themes and storytelling opportunities aligned with retail strategies and consumer trends.

Provide Visionary Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and guide all Entertainment teams and stakeholders with strategic direction, to foster a high-performance culture and continuous innovation.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential:

This role requires a strong combination of Licensing, Commercial and Creative/Marketing skills.

Strong and solid experience in the Licensing field, ideally within a leading Licensing company, with demonstrated exposure to APAC markets.

Product/Licensing Management experience.

Proven ability to lead cross-market stakeholders in a multicultural environment, working effectively across time zones and with frequent regional travel as required.

Networking and relationship skills to develop relationships with external and internal clients and stakeholders.

Excellent organisational ability to manage multiple tasks.

Ability to lead a team autonomously.

Can-do and entrepreneurial attitude.

Bachelor's Degree in key academic field.
