We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support aerospace MRO, gas turbine engine programs, test facilities, and defence sustainment projects at our Bundamba facility.

We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team in
(Brisbane, QLD). If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
Your role
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Support maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) activities for aerospace propulsion systems
- Assist with engineering investigations, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements
- Work across turbine engines, mechanical systems, and advanced manufacturing projects
- Support test cell operations, performance analysis, and engineering documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams
- Ensure compliance with aviation safety and defence quality standards
The essential requirements
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical Engines)
- Experience within aviation, defence, heavy industry, manufacturing, or rotating equipment environments
- Exposure to gas turbines, engines, aerospace systems, or maintenance engineering highly regarded
- Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
- Strong team player;
- Ability to follow supervisory direction;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
- Passion for safe work practices;
- Valid work visa;
- Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
- Current Australian Driver's licence.
