What You'll Be Doing…
In this role as Regional HR Operations Specialist you’ll own the end-to-end employee lifecycle for our Australia and Hong Kong businesses. From welcoming new hires on day one to ensuring smooth transitions during employee exits, you’ll be the operational backbone of our team. You will manage a variety of administrative and operational tasks while collaborating with key stakeholders across the region.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Serving as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries through our Workday Help system, ensuring all questions are answered within SLAs.
Engaging with pre-hires to gather documentation, manage background check investigations, and assist with onboarding activities.
Processing job changes, compensation updates, employment verifications, leave of absence requests, and health and welfare benefit enrollments/changes.
Managing employee terminations and severance administration, ensuring all paperwork meets legal standards and is completed within SLA.
Overseeing immigration data, ensuring all visa information is up-to-date and processing new applications/renewals as needed.
Maintaining personnel files in our online database and monitoring HR tools.
Maintaining strict employee confidentiality and supporting Audit/SOX activities.
What we’re looking for…
You are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about creating a seamless employee experience.
You’ll need to have:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Psychology, Business administration) or equivalent working experience.
Two or more years relevant working experience working within the Human Resources operations function.
Experience working in a Customer Service and Employee experience environment.
Hands-on experience navigating HR tools Workday or PeopleSoft.
Proficiency in G-Suite applications, and general computer applications.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Knowledge of HR and operational processes, alongside an understanding of Australian legislative and employment laws.
Prior experience delivering regional support.
Willingness to work on flexible working hours.
A customer-first mindset supported by exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail paired with strong analytical capabilities.
The ability to multitask, demonstrate a sense of urgency, and flourish in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
An understanding of project and program management methodologies.
