Stamford Plaza Adelaide is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front Office Representative to join our Front Office team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play an integral role in creating exceptional first impressions and delivering the high standard of service that Stamford Hotels & Resorts is renowned for.

Permanent part-time position
Working on a rotating roster including morning afternoon and weekend shifts

About the Role

As a Front Office Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service throughout every stage of the guest journey. From welcoming guests on arrival through to departure, you will ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to five-star hospitality.

Working closely with the Front Office team and other hotel departments, you will provide personalised service while ensuring efficient daily operations.

We look for people who will go the extra mile to ensure our guest experiences are memorable.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests and deliver a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
Respond to guest enquiries professionally, efficiently and courteously.
Assist guests with reservations outside Reservations operating hours.
Answer and direct internal and external telephone calls.
Coordinate guest requests with relevant hotel departments.
Process guest payments in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
Promote hotel facilities, services and special offers.
Maintain accurate guest information and reservation records using Opera PMS.
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Act as a brand ambassador by delivering exceptional service on every occasion.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Previous Front Office, Guest Services or customer service experience, preferably within a hotel environment.
Experience using Opera PMS or a similar Property Management System (desirable).
Hospitality qualification or currently studying Hospitality Management (desirable).
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative.
A positive, flexible and team-oriented attitude.
Well-presented with a professional appearance.
Availability to work a rotating roster including mornings, afternoons, weekends and public holidays.
Unrestricted working rights within Australia.
