Founded over 40 years ago, JMC is a heritage higher education provider specialising in the creative industries. We offer smaller classes, real studios with incredible equipment, and lecturers who still work in the industries they teach, from TV production to music theatre to game design.
Our positioning is direct. JMC graduates, and our staff, are working creatives and collaborators. They excel at their own craft, and they’re also exceptional team players.
We’ve been doing this for over 40 years, and we plan to keep doing it for many more. This is a place to build a career chapter, not just a CV line.
The Outreach Coordinator plays a key role in promoting and advocating for JMC Academy to prospective students, parents, career advisors, teachers and partner organisations. The primary objective is to drive sustainable lead generation and referrals through tactical business and relationship development with external influencers, including industry partners, schools, international agents and referral networks. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the campus-specific Student Ambassador Program to support student recruitment outcomes, coordinating high-impact engagement activities, and collaborating closely with the marketing team to align outreach strategies with broader brand and enrolment objectives.
- Drive sustainable lead generation from the high school leaver audience, through developing strong relationships and partnerships with schools.
- Identify and develop opportunities aligned with JMC’s target audiences and recruitment objectives, working collaboratively with Marketing and Academic departments.
- Develop and maintain high-value relationships with key external influencers, including high school career advisors, educators, industry bodies, creative organisations and referral networks.
- Deliver engaging presentations, workshops and information sessions that clearly articulate JMC’s programs, facilities and career outcomes.
- Plan and deliver JMC-hosted recruitment initiatives, including workshops, work experience programs, campus events and information sessions.
- Manage the campus-specific Student Ambassador Program, including recruitment, training and performance oversight.
