Join Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals as the Coding and Research Support Manager and lead a vital service that supports patient care, funding, service planning, and clinical research. In this rewarding role, you will provide leadership and management to the Clinical Information Department's coding team, ensuring high-quality clinical coding outcomes and the timely achievement of organisational deadlines. You will also play an important role in supporting research activities by assisting clinicians and researchers with data extraction and reporting from information systems, including EDWARD, Discern Analytics, and the Patient Administration System (PAS).

Are You the Right Fit?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinical coding professional with extensive knowledge of ICD-10-AM and a proven ability to lead and support coding teams. You will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated experience implementing coding quality activities, and the ability to effectively organise, prioritise, and manage competing deadlines. A strong working knowledge of hospital information systems, including PAS, eMR, Solventum Code Finder, and EDWARD, is essential. If you are passionate about coding excellence, data quality, and supporting research and healthcare improvement, we would love to hear from you.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Tertiary qualifications in Health Information Management or other qualifications deemed equivalent, with extensive experience in clinical coding using ICD-10-AM.
Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritise and meet deadlines.
Working knowledge of computerized hospital systems including patient administration systems (PAS), eMR, Code Finder, and EDWARD.
Experience implementing coding quality activities
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P. Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
