About the Role

PowerHouse Hub is seeking an ICT Business Analyst to join our Brisbane-based team.

This is a hands-on role combining business analysis, SaaS solution configuration, project delivery, client engagement, product support and complex Helpdesk issue resolution.

Working with Product Owners, Project Managers, Development and QA teams, you will analyse business and client requirements, translate them into clear functional and technical specifications and help deliver practical solutions using our SaaS platform.

You’ll also work directly with clients, assist with platform configuration and implementation, investigate complex product and Helpdesk issues and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our products.

We are looking for someone who can quickly develop a strong understanding of our platform, work independently and take ownership of their responsibilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

Gather, analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements.
Analyse client business processes and identify how technology can support their operational requirements.
Prepare specifications, user stories, process maps, workflows and acceptance criteria.
Support the design and configuration of SaaS modules, workflows and client solutions.
Work with Project Managers, Product Owners, Development and QA teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
Act as a technical point of contact for key clients and assist with onboarding, configuration and integration requirements.
Participate in UAT, solution validation, demonstrations and testing.
Provide feedback to Product teams regarding enhancements and product improvements.
Work closely with the Helpdesk Coordinator to investigate and replicate complex product and system issues.
Determine whether issues require a development fix, configuration change or user guidance/training.
Act as a product Subject-Matter Expert (SME) for complex support issues.
Review and manage Jira issues and escalate to Project, Product or Development teams as required.
Work with QA and Development teams to test and validate fixes before release.
Identify recurring client and Helpdesk issues that may lead to product or process improvements.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in ICT business analysis, technical solutions, SaaS implementation, technical consulting or a similar technology role.
Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Ability to translate business needs into clear specifications, user stories and workflows.
Experience working with SaaS or configurable software platforms.
Understanding of system configuration, workflows and integration concepts.
Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders.
Experience working with Product, Project, Development or QA teams.
Ability to investigate and analyse software or system issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and take responsibility for your work.

Highly Desirable

Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), learning technology or enterprise SaaS platforms will be highly regarded, particularly:

Implementing, configuring or supporting an LMS.
LMS workflows, user management, learning administration and reporting.
Agile software delivery and UAT.
SaaS configuration and integrations.
Jira or similar issue management platforms.
Client-facing SaaS implementation or technical support.
APIs, data structures or technical troubleshooting.

Previous experience with PowerHouse Hub products, particularly PowerHouse Upskill LMS, would be a significant advantage.

Qualifications

A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Business Analysis or a related discipline is desirable.

Work Experience

At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, SaaS implementation or technical solutions.

You’ll enjoy working at the intersection of clients, business requirements and technology.

You’ll be comfortable speaking with a client to understand their requirements, documenting those requirements for a Development team, helping configure a SaaS solution, investigating a complex Helpdesk issue and testing the resulting solution.

You’ll be analytical, organised, customer-focused and comfortable working collaboratively while taking ownership of your responsibilities.
