Full-time preferred | Part-time considered
Intrinsic Health is looking for a Physiotherapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team and help build Physiotherapy services from our new Burpengary clinic, opening 6 October 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the clinic right from the beginning. You’ll be working alongside Exercise Physiology and Occupational Therapy, with dedicated administration support five days a week and further allied health disciplines planned as the centre grows.
You’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with local clients and referrers, contribute ideas and genuinely help shape the Physiotherapy service as the clinic develops.
Full-time is preferred, however we are open to discussing part-time arrangements with the right person.
Initially, you will spend approximately three days per week working from Burpengary, providing a mix of clinic-based appointments and local home visits.
For at least the first three months, while the Burpengary caseload continues to build, you will also spend part of your week at our Vitality Movement Centre in Birtinya, working with an established caseload and supporting leave coverage where required.
This gives you the best of both worlds: an existing caseload and team to step into from day one, while also having the opportunity to help grow a brand-new local service.
As the Burpengary caseload develops, we expect the role to become increasingly based within Burpengary and the surrounding community.
You will work across a varied caseload and have the flexibility to develop the role as our services grow.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing Physiotherapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation across clinic and community settings
- Supporting clients with mobility, strength, balance, pain management and functional goals
- Developing individualised exercise and rehabilitation programs
- Completing local home visits and community-based appointments
- Working collaboratively with our Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists and broader allied health team
- Building relationships with clients, families, referrers and community partners
- Contributing to the growth and development of Physiotherapy services within the centre
- Working from our Vitality Movement Centre during the initial caseload-building period
- Supporting service continuity and team leave coverage where required
We are looking for a Physiotherapist who enjoys variety, values collaboration and is excited by the opportunity to be part of a growing service.
You will need:
- A bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy
- Current AHPRA General registration
- A current Australian driver licence and access to a suitable vehicle for community visits
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
- A current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Full Australian working rights
Experience across musculoskeletal, rehabilitation, disability or community Physiotherapy will be highly regarded, although we are most interested in finding someone who is adaptable, motivated and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Join from the beginning: Be part of our new Burpengary clinic from its opening on 6 October and help shape Physiotherapy services as they grow
- You won’t be doing it alone: Work alongside existing Exercise Physiologists and Occupational Therapists, with administration support available five days a week
- Help shape the service: Bring your ideas, build local relationships and have genuine input into how Physiotherapy develops within the clinic
- Variety from day one: Combine clinic-based work, community visits and an established Birtinya caseload
- A role that grows with you: As the local caseload builds, there is scope for the role to develop around your clinical interests
- Flexibility: Full-time is preferred, although part-time arrangements can be considered
- No shift work or on-call: Enjoy predictable allied health working hours
- Professional development: Permanent employees have access to two days of paid CPD leave and up to $1,500 in professional development support
- Employee wellbeing: Access confidential mental health and counselling support through our Employee Assistance Program
- Everyday savings: Access discounts, cashback and retailer offers through the Employment Hero app
