Are you passionate about education, workforce development and supporting clinicians to deliver high-quality care? An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Allied Health Professional to join the Education and Organisational Development Service (EODS) as the Allied Health Educator – Generalist Portfolio on a 4-month secondment.

Work with Allied Health leaders, clinicians and stakeholders across the District to identify learning needs, develop and deliver education programs, support early career staff, and contribute to workforce capability initiatives that strengthen patient care and staff development.
This role offers the opportunity to expand your skills in education leadership, program development, stakeholder engagement and service-wide project work.

Are You the Right Fit?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality service in supporting NSW Health clinicians and promoting workforce development. Hence, the candidate must:

Be an experienced Allied Health clinician with a passion for education and workforce development.
Have proven experience designing, delivering and evaluating education programs in healthcare settings.
Apply adult learning principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
Be confident facilitating learning for multidisciplinary and diverse audiences.
Demonstrate excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Use evidence-based practice to inform education design and improve workforce capability.
Be highly organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities.
Build strong relationships with clinicians, managers and stakeholders across the District.
Be innovative and comfortable utilising contemporary education modalities, including blended and virtual learning approaches.

Selection Criteria

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Allied Health Professional or a tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline with eligibility for membership of the relevant Australian professional association.
, and/or a postgraduate qualification in adult education.
Outline how you meet the essential qualifications and requirements for this role, including:- Your Allied Health qualification and registration/professional membership- Any adult education qualifications (e.g. Certificate IV TAE, postgraduate education qualifications) or progress towards obtaining them
Tell us about an education, training or workforce development initiative you have led or contributed to. What was your role, how did you approach it, and what outcomes were achieved?
This role works closely with clinicians, managers and key stakeholders across multiple services. Describe a time when you successfully collaborated with others to achieve a shared outcome.
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P. Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
