About The Position

One of our operating companies, REDD, is looking for a Business Development Representative to join their team in Brisbane.

This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start or grow your career in technology sales. Whether you already have some sales experience or you are coming from a customer service, retail, hospitality or other customer-facing background, we are looking for people with great communication skills, a positive attitude and the drive to learn.

As a Business Development Representative, you will be at the forefront of our sales team, connecting with potential clients, generating new opportunities and helping drive business growth. You will receive hands-on training, ongoing coaching and the support of an experienced team, giving you everything you need to build a successful career in sales.

Responsibilities:

Identify and engage key decision-makers across target organisations
Generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach (phone, email and LinkedIn)
Book high-quality meetings for our Account Executives
Work closely with the sales and growth teams to refine messaging and outreach strategies
Keep customer information and activity up to date in our CRM
Bring energy, curiosity and creativity to your outreach while following a proven sales process

Skills required

We are more interested in your attitude and potential than having the "perfect" CV. We would love to hear from you if you have:

Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, sales or another customer-facing role
Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with new people
A genuine interest in sales, technology and building a long-term career
A proactive, resilient mindset and willingness to learn
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience using Microsoft Office

Bonus points if you have:

Previous Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative or sales experience
Exposure to the IT or technology industry
Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce, or prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator
